Abstract
The Symptom Rating Test (S.R.T.) was designed to assess changes in symptoms in non-psychotic patients. Previous studies suggest that the test is a measure of recently experienced neurotic distress. Scores were found to change markedly with changes in the clinical state of patients during treatment, and in anxious neurotics the scores were found to be correlated with psychiatrists' rating of anxiety.
