The review also aimed to study the morphological characterization and presence of phytochemicals like phenolics, flavonoids, alkaloids, proteins, and carbohydrates. A domain in which the plant has ability to treat cancer, diabetes and infectious diseases. The ethnobotanical and pharmacological data would enable a comprehensive study of the Indian olive.
