Abstract
An analytical study is performed to investigate the flexibility of nozzless in pressure vessel heads. Classical thin shell theory is employed. Radial flexibility factors for nozzles in hemispherical and ellipsoidal pressure vessel heads are presented as graphs of non-dimensional shell parameters.
