Abstract
The article considers the problem of the spread of myofascial pain syndrome and the difficulties associated with its treatment. Preliminary studies on the definition, origin and causes of myofascial disorders are presented. The phenomenon of trigger points and ways to eliminate them are highlighted. The phases of the pain syndrome and the directions of its overcoming are determined. The effect of heat, cold and massager-applicator at MFBS and contraindications to their use are analyzed. The positive effect and expediency of complex application of contrast hydrotherapy and massager-applicator in disorders of blood flow, lymph flow, the presence of inflammatory processes in muscle tissues and fascia have been substantiated. Features of this technique are described in detail.
