1. Maha Armaly is an operations officer for the World Bank and is a member of the team supporting the project. Ms Armaly has worked on cultural heritage projects in other countries.

2. Carlo Blasi is an expert in building restoration and structures consolidation. He is Full Professor of Restoration at the University of Parma. In 1997, he was the chief coordinator of the UNESCO International Group for the ‘Rehabilitation Plan of the Historical Centre of Mostar’; he has been advisor to the World Bank for the design of the reconstruction of the old bridge in Mostar.1

3. Lawrence Hannah is an economist for the World Bank and has served as Task Team Leader for the Pilot Cultural Heritage Project since December 1999.
