Abstract
The results of saturating sum rules are shown to be the same as those obtained by Fulco and Wong in their bootstrap model. It is also shown how these models tie in with the intermediate coupling theory of Kuriyan and Sudarshan, which explains why higher symmetry results are obtained from these models. We then demonstrate how certain amplitudes correspond to specific t-channel spin, in the p-wave limit. Because of this, spin-symmetric results are obtained. Finally we present a soluble model in which the mass of the isobars is linear in isospin.
