Abstract
We report the results of precise determinations of the thermal conductivity and electrical resistivity of high purity silver in the temperature range 80 to 350 K. At the higher temperature end, our results are in excellent agreement with those previously reported by Laubitz, while at the lowe end our values agree very well with the values given by White and Woods. The ideal Wiedemann–Franz ratio, computed from the results of the latter and from our own, shows a dip in the range 60 to 80 K, which is not observed in either copper or gold.
