Abstract
Giemsa staining elicited pericentromeric and telomeric bands in Lotus pedunculatus Cav. chromosomes. All chromosomes were readily distinguishable by the size and location of their bands. In several instances the bands correlated with heterochromatically condensed chromatin. Connectives between prophase telomeres were also observed.
