Abstract
The syntheses of the previously unknown 4,4′-dinaphthalic anhydride (4) and 4′, l-naphthylnaphthalic anhydride (5) is reported. The vinylic bromination of 5-(1,-3,4-dihydronaphthyl)acenaphthene (11) is also described.
