Abstract
The occurrence of Diaptomus connexus Light 1938 in Alberta is reported. Comparative examination of specimens from Saskatchewan indicate that the species occurs there also. Specimens of D. siciloides Lilljeborg 1889 from widespread parts of North America were examined comparatively and consistent differences between the two species were found. Some observations and comments on the ecology and distribution of the two species are presented.
