Abstract
This paper presents a study of multiparticle rapidity clustering in proton–nucleon interaction at 70 GeV/c using the generalized rapidity-gap method. The observed rapidity-gap distribution has been compared with those from a model of uncorrelated particle production. A clear indication of cluster production was observed.
