Abstract
A revised glaciation chronology for Ontario that spans the last half million years is derived by combining recent results from oxygen isotope analyses in deep sea cores with evidence from studies of the Pleistocene geology of the province. The chronology suggests that the perturbation to the geothermal gradient may be up to 50% larger than previously thought in central parts of Ontario.
