Single-mode waveguides in barium titanate-on-insulator platform fabricated by wet etching

Abstract

We present, for the first time, single-mode single-crystal barium titanate waveguides on insulator, achieved through a wet-etching method. This etching approach opens new possibilities for the development of barium-titanate-based integrated optical devices.
