Abstract

Scars are the vast number of people. At the same time their development proceeds differently in each case. It is influenced by a number of factors both external (terms of injury, environment, the vastness of the lesion) and internal (immune reactivity, genetic predisposition, etc.). The result of inadequate development of the scar can become overgrowth with the development of hypertrophic or keloid scarring, as well as the development of cicatricial atrophy.
