Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the Corona Virus Disease 2019, had a global impact with over 71 million infections and more than 1 million deaths by December 31, 2020[1]. To categorize Indian States/Union Territories (UTs) according to their COVID-19 statistics, we utilized hierarchical clustering analysis. This method groups the data based on their similarities, considering confirmed, recovered cases and COVID-19 related deaths. The results were presented in the form of informative tables and graphs, which can be valuable in devising strategies to prevent the further spread of the virus.
