Abstract
The main enhancement areas in growth of wireless technology include speed, power consumption and better security management of IoT devices and networks. The essential part of cryptographic use in IoT is to encrypt data over the wireless communication networks for resolving the security and privacy issues. In this paper, the simulation and synthesis results of elliptic curve scalar multiplication over 2163 binary field have been obtained using vivado-2019.2 and virtex-7 FPGA technologies with achieved frequency-213.81MHz, which are better than most of the similar other works. Based on various experiments related to high speed, less area, low power consumption and their trade-offs, the proposed 22nm (FDSOI) technology ASIC implementation provides better frequency-257.53MHz, leakage power-0.011mW, and area-106832.195µm2.
