Abstract
The paper presents the measurement results for parameters of the electromagnetic response to deterministic acoustic excitation of magnetite ore samples and model samples of cement-sand and cement-glass mixtures with inclusions of ferrite magnet, magnetite ore, brass and duralumin, including that in the magnetic field. The possibility of testing the characteristics of magnetizable solid-state defects by electromagnetic signal parameters is shown. The dependences of the amplitude of electromagnetic responses to external pulsed acoustic excitation are given. The impact of changes in the direction of the constant magnetic field applied to the sample with a magnetite ore defect on parameters of electromagnetic responses is shown. It was revealed that changes in the strength of the external constant magnetic field under acoustic excitation significantly affect the amplitude of the electromagnetic signal of magnetite ore. The obtained patterns can be used for objective hardware determination of the content of magnetizable defects in the test dielectric structure, and the content of magnetite ore in rock cores.
