Background: The natural and physiological changes of psychological dimensions in old age and the lack of promotion of correct behaviours related to the quality of life cause negative consequences for the elderly. Considering the significant impact of the quality of life on the general health of the elderly, this study was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors related to the quality of life in the elderly of Isfahan city. Materials and methods: The current cross-sectional study was conducted in Isfahan city in 2022 and the data obtained from 460 elderly were analayzed. In the interview, an information collection form including demographic characteristics and Lipad quality of life questionnaire was completed and then the final conclusion was reported using Pearson's statistical tests and generalized linear model. Results: The results of this study showed that the relationship between demographic variables and quality of life and its dimensions in the elderly is significant (p-value˂0.05). Conclusions: Older age, female gender, lower level of education, lack of marital status and favorable employment can be predictors of low quality of life among the elderly.
