Abstract

Let A be a prime *-algebra. In this paper, we suppose that ? : A ? A satisfies ?(A ? B) = ?(A) ? B + A ? ?(B) where A ? B = A*B + B*A for all A, B ? A. Then, ? is an additive *-derivation.
