Seasonal variations showed higher AsS-OH content in summer and autumn, with U. lactuca and M. japonica having the highest levels in July 2023 at 1.07 mg/kg and 4.28 mg/kg , respectively; N. munita had the highest content in October 2022 at 5.69 mg/kg.
