Assessment techniques are essential for utilization in both digital and online classrooms. The online evaluation must be viewed to evaluate a student's academic performance. Educational institutions are being held to a greater standard of accountability, and learning about online assessment is critical. Perhaps the information presented here can assist teachers in selecting assessment approaches that are appropriate for the pedagogy of online courses. Technology, delivery, pedagogy, learning styles, and learning outcomes must all be balanced in online assessment efficiently and comprehensively assess student learning, while meeting the problems of accountability, reform, and students' learning requirements, a diverse set of online components, methods, assessment criteria, and tools are required. Educators should continue to investigate various types of digital tools and methods for evaluating students in higher education in order to develop novel, efficient, and effective evaluation procedures that will hold institutions accountable for student outcomes in the online environment.
