Abstract
This story narrates the challenges faced by two young women, Amina from Nigeria and Maria from Peru, in accessing digital higher education in the Global South. Despite limited technological infrastructure, lack of digital competence, language barriers, and socio-economic constraints, they overcame these challenges with determination, perseverance, and community support. This story highlights the importance of investing in digital higher education to create opportunities for millions of young people in the Global South.
