Abstract
Utilization of wood waste for sustainable production is becoming increasingly important in the current environmental and economic scenario. Various types of wood waste are generated by different industries. The current practices of wood waste recycling and reuse exhibit several benefits and limitations. The various technological innovations include the production of biofuels, engineered wood products, nanomaterials, animal bedding, and other potential applications. The importance of using wood waste for sustainable production includes various technological, environmental, economic, and social implications. Thus, the scaling of wood waste utilization for sustainable green production is a new age tool that offers immense potential for achieving sustainable development goals.
