Abstract
Exploring the intersection of technology and community literacy, this reflection chronicles the design and implementation of technology-mediated community literacy (TMCL) programs. It scrutinizes the symbiosis of digital tools and literacy enhancement, addressing challenges like the digital divide and educator resistance. Successes, challenges, and insights from two principal TMCL programs—one for children during COVID-19 and another for adult literacy—are analyzed. Emphasizing core principles such as community engagement and continuous improvement, the chapter outlines future TMCL trajectories influenced by technological advancements and educational policy shifts. Personal reflections offer a vision for TMCL's impact on community literacy.
