Abstract
This chapter explores the imperative task of expanding the intellectual horizons of postgraduate students in India. It investigates various methodologies, pedagogical approaches, and educational strategies to address the challenges in traditional postgraduate education systems. Using qualitative methods, the chapter analyzes the integration of experiential learning, technology-enhanced education, collaborative projects, and real-world applications in the postgraduate curriculum. Drawing on the social cognitive theory by Albert Bandura, the research examines how observational learning and modeling influence postgraduate students. The findings aim to inform educational stakeholders about effective strategies for fostering a profound understanding among postgraduate students and preparing them for contemporary challenges. Overall, the chapter contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and relevance of higher education in India.
