Abstract

The chapter is a journey interior into the nuances of the magnificent technological pursuits. While talking in general, numerous case studies around the world attest to the enormous potential that young people have to drive AI innovation for social impact, like youth-led initiatives utilizing AI have surfaced to address urgent global issues like environmental sustainability, healthcare, and poverty. AI algorithms are used in India as part of the “smart village” effort, which is being led by young entrepreneurs, to improve crop yields, optimize agricultural methods, and reduce rural poverty. Similar to this, young-led businesses are using AI-powered healthcare platforms to lower maternal death rates and increase access to other social activities. In addition, young activists around the world use AI to track environmental data, forecast natural disasters, and promote sustainable policies—all of which help combat climate change and save biodiversity. So, these illustrations highlight the revolutionary potential of youth-driven AI innovation in for the societal benefits.
