Abstract
The chapter explores the intersection of African diaspora entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development in the ancestral homeland. It draws from the triple nexus theory to examine how African diaspora entrepreneurship can foster sustainability entrepreneurship and embody sustainable values in Africa. Using a qualitative desktop research design and a case study method, it identifies and examines African diaspora entrepreneurship support organisations. The findings indicate that sustainability entrepreneurship entails innovative projects that go beyond societal, humanitarian, economic, and environmental concerns. African diaspora entrepreneurs demonstrate proficiency in i5.0, and ability to effectively integrating human labour with machine capabilities. The conclusion emphasises embracing the intuitive features of the African diaspora to fully leverage its potential for sustainability entrepreneurship. This study contributes to the understanding of entrepreneurship and sustainability in Africa, benefiting business management scholars, undergraduate, and postgraduate students.
