Abstract

By examining the relationship between emotional intelligence and effective leadership in times of change, this chapter aims to uncover the underlying mechanisms through which emotional intelligence influences the success of change initiatives. Additionally, the chapter seeks to identify gaps in the current literature and propose avenues for future research in this area. The goal is to provide valuable insights for leaders and professionals involved in change management, offering a deeper understanding of how emotional intelligence can be leveraged to navigate and drive organizational change. By examining these interdisciplinary connections, (organizational culture, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement) researchers and practitioners can gain a more holistic understanding of how emotional intelligence operates within the complex dynamics of change initiatives.
