Abstract
Phosphate-based mixtures are widely used in various industries, and understanding their thermodynamic properties is crucial for optimizing their applications in medicine, pharmaceuticals, leather manufacturing, textiles, etc. This comprehensive review explores the literature on the thermodynamic characteristics and applications of phosphate-based mixtures in aqueous solutions. The focus is on studies investigating density and volumetric properties, phase equilibrium, molecular interactions, and thermal properties of phosphate compounds such as Disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate and DiPotassium hydrogen phosphate. The chapter provides a comprehensive summary of the extensive research conducted on the thermodynamics of mixtures, specifically in aqueous solutions. The focus of these investigations has been on exploring the thermodynamic properties of various compounds containing phosphates. The findings presented in this review contribute to the existing knowledge base and provide a foundation for further research and optimization of phosphate-based mixtures in aqueous solutions.
