A Novel Sequential Three-Way Decision With Rough Fuzzy Sets Based on Optimal Granularity Selection

Abstract

By introducing the cost measure and three-way decisions theory into the multi-granulation spaces, the uncertain knowledge is approximately described, and the selection method of cost-sensitive optimal knowledge space is proposed. To choose the optimal cost knowledge space to describe a fuzzy concept, a sequential three-way decisions model with rough fuzzy sets (S3WDRFS) is established. It is found that decision cost in multi-granulation knowledge spaces will monotonically decrease with finer knowledge spaces. A selection method of cost-sensitive optimal knowledge space for approximating a fuzzy concept is achieved.
