Abstract
This study explores the nexus between climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainable tourist destinations amid escalating climate change impacts. Analyzing 273 articles from Scopus unveils key themes, challenges, and strategies. The Journal of Sustainable Tourism tops citations, emphasizing its influence. The UK, with the highest citations, signifies significant contributions to the discourse. Four clusters reveal unique facets—climate resilience and tourism dynamics, coastal sustainability, carbon neutrality, and global tourism. Infrastructure's role in mitigating risks, promoting resilience, and fostering economic sustainability is underscored. The synthesis guides future inquiries, serving as a roadmap for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners for a holistic understanding of climate-resilient infrastructure in sustainable tourist destinations.
