Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop concept maps enriched with digital technologies to provide multimedia learning in science education. In the study, in which design and development research method was used, 6th and 8th grade students and science and technology teachers were considered as the common user group. In the process of developing concept maps enriched with digital technologies, the steps of applying instructional technology tools design methods and introducing three designs obtained at the end of the process are included. It is expected that concept maps enriched with digital technologies in science education based on multimedia learning applications will support much more meaningful learning by enriching science lessons. With the concept maps enriched with digital technologies developed within the scope of the research, innovative technology applications were tried to be presented to our teachers and students in science and technology teaching.
