Abstract
Since college students use social media extensively, studying the link between social media use and academic achievement has become an important research topic. This study aimed to assess the impact of social networking platform usage on the academic performance of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the commerce and management fields. The chapter also aimed to determine the extent to which University students' usage of social networking sites influences their academic achievement. This chapter utilizes the correlation tests to assess and compare the impact of social networking sites on the academic achievement of the chosen students. The data has been collected from December 2023 to February 2024. This research examines the impact of social networking sites on students' academic achievement, specifically focusing on how students might utilize these platforms without negative consequences. Several tools on these platforms facilitate students in acquiring new learning techniques and exchanging thoughts and questions with students worldwide.
