Abstract
Lack of social support during the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in students' psychological well-being. The students who cannot adapt to online learning demonstrate stress and disruption in psychological well-being. Stress among students in institutions of higher learning is an issue that needs to be paid attention to especially when dealing with the spread of the coronavirus. The present chapter aims to explore student well-being over time, on a university-wide basis. It explores students' perceptions of strengths and weaknesses in the university's academic and service infrastructure and the relationship of these perceptions to student well-being. The focus on student psychological well-being in addition to satisfaction, the longitudinal approach, and the university-wide scope a system of institutional self-evaluation. Moreover, social support from the student's environment such as the encouragement of parents, lecturers, friends, and the surrounding community will help to improve the level of psychological well-being of a student. This matter indirectly affects the student's academic performance and therefore to achieve excellent academic results.
