Abstract

This chapter explores the pivotal role of gender equity in shaping the dynamics of organizational ecosystems, aiming to illuminate the multi-faceted challenges obstructing its realization while unveiling the myriad opportunities it presents. In contrast to the existing literature, which often focuses solely on identifying obstacles, this study takes a comprehensive approach by not only dissecting impediments but also spotlighting the transformative potential that arises from embracing diversity and inclusivity within organizational frameworks. Through a nuanced analysis, this study endeavours to equip organizations with actionable strategies tailored to their unique contexts, fostering environments that are not only equitable but also more innovative, resilient, and sustainable. By marrying theoretical insights with practical recommendations, this study contributes to advancing the discourse on gender equity and organizational development, offering a fresh perspective and tangible pathways for fostering inclusive and thriving ecosystems.
