Abstract

Aedes albopictus poses a significant risk to public health as a key vector of illnesses like Zika and dengue. Finding certain transcripts in Aedes albopictus that increase growth factors is essential for creating therapeutic indicators and locating antagonists. To identify transcripts that are differently expressed, this work uses a reference-based analysis of the whole transcriptome. The results provide a framework for developing treatments meant to manage mosquito populations. Subsequent investigations will concentrate on mathematical modeling of gene regulation and differential expression in order to enhance our comprehension and efficacy of these treatment approaches. In order to enhance public health outcomes, this chapter proposes a strategy for finding and targeting growth factor-enhancing transcripts in Aedes albopictus by thorough transcriptome analysis and mathematical modeling.
