Abstract
This chapter provides examples of how technology and creative thinking can transform the context of higher education in India. It looks at how technology may bridge the gap between urban and rural communities, increase learning results, and improve access to education. It also emphasises how digital tools and online platforms can offer individualised learning experiences and promote cooperation between teachers and students. By mapping the sustainable development goals, it also aims to address sustainability-related issues. Focus has been made to underline and address the spirit and intent on education reforms as envisaged under the National Education Policy 2020 of India. Students, teachers, and higher education institutions would all benefit from this chapter while planning and creating online courses.
