Abstract

In this chapter, the authors explore the role of AI in monitoring agricultural essentials, such as soil health, water management, and crop diseases. They delve into the various applications and benefits of AI in monitoring agricultural essentials. Through the integration of weather forecasts, soil moisture sensors, and machine learning algorithms, AI systems can determine the precise water requirements of crops in real-time. AI-based monitoring systems equipped with sensors and cameras can detect pest activity and provide real-time alerts to farmers. By harnessing the power of AI-driven monitoring systems, farmers can access real-time data, make informed decisions, and optimize resource allocation for sustainable agriculture.
