Abstract

In this chapter, the authors explore the dynamic interplay between Industry 4.0 technologies and green supply chain management (GSCM). The investigation focuses on how Industry 4.0 innovations can amplify the impact of sustainable practices, providing businesses with cutting-edge tools to enhance environmental efficiency, reduce waste, and promote responsible sourcing within their supply chains. Through a comprehensive examination, the authors aim to illuminate the synergies between Industry 4.0 and GSCM, offering actionable insights and practical recommendations for businesses seeking to align Industry 4.0 initiatives with sustainability goals.
