Multimedia Cloud Data Warehouse Design for Knowledge Sharing in the University Environment

Abstract

The desire for homogeneity in the execution of national policy on information communication technologies (ICTs) for tertiary education in Nigeria has been updated through progressive inclusion in the national policy with regard to ICTs use in education. In evaluating the progress made towards the sustainable development goals, the policy highlighted the necessity of ICTs in achieving the national technology objectives. In this paper, the authors argued that developments in ICT policy with regard to the implementation of National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) should adopt a bottom-up approach in order to establish contributions in the Nigeria Education Research Network (NgREN) in the direction of improving educational quality and research output geared toward sustainable national development. The research's findings showed that integrating ICTs into educational mainstream management is essential for academic success, effectiveness, globalization, and job satisfaction that incorporates electronic changes for opportunities in the digital age.
