Abstract

Vocal parameter manipulation was explored in relation to improvement in intelligibility scores of glossectomee patients. Pre- and posttherapy spectrograms were examined for changes in any parameters. The improvement in intelligibility appeared to have phonatory components amenable to therapeutic manipulation of the vocal parameters of resonance and duration.
