Abstract

Driving has certainly changed the way we travel and explore different parts of the globe, under full human control and with respect to human intuition and previous driving experience. But manual control does not guarantee safety and the absence of fatalities in all possible driving conditions.Autonomous driving is the solution to this problem. However, artificial intelligence has not yet touched all aspects of the technology. This article provides a brief overview of how Tesla Motor's semi-autonomous driving technology - Tesla Autopilot is changing the process, orientations and transportation. By incorporating state-of-the-art AI and hardware technology, next-generation autonomous driving is improved in real time. Tesla Autopilot relieves drivers of the most tedious and potentially dangerous aspects of road traffic.
