S-doped anatase TiO2 (average grain size: 20 nm) was synthesized by a hydrothermal treatment, and the crystalline phase and morphology of the as-fabricated materials were characterized with XRD, TEM, and EDX. We investigated the catalytic reactions in a simulated environment (60 L environmental chambers) in tandem with TD-GC-MS determinations. Furthermore, the photocatalytic activity of S-doped TiO2 was evaluated by monitoring the degradation of BTEX from synthetic surfaces, and maximum of 85% degradation rate exhibited for the S-doped TiO2 under visible light after irradiation for 1 h.
