Abstract
Abstract
The electrical and optical properties of a low-current arc, which was blown by a plasma flow from a gas discharge with a liquid electrolyte cathode, were experimentally studied. The arc current varied in the range of 1-10 A. As a liquid electrolyte, aqueous solutions of sodium chloride with a specific electrical conductivity of 10-15 mS/cm were used. The arc and gas discharge with an electrolyte cathode were tied to a single-metal anode.
