Abstract
This paper discusses the identification methods for nonlinear systems. Using the negative gradient search, the gradient based iterative algorithm is derived to determine the parameters of the nonlinear system. In addition, in order to improve the computational efficiency, the gradient-based iterative algorithm based on the model transformation is derived. The basic principle is to transform a complex nonlinear system into a linear or simple nonlinear system. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
