Abstract
The paper describes a solar cell thermoelectric model with taking into account the nonlinear temperature dependence of the thermal power density. The temperature distribution in the structure and dependence of the p–n junction overheating on the heating current are reviewed. The results obtained by the modeling and the results obtained with the original apparatus for measuring the thermal resistance of solar cell are compared.
