Assessment of the view area of parachuted radio monitoring system and stabilization of flight under wind forcing

Abstract

Abstract The paper describes a method of modelling the influence of wind on the parachuted radio monitoring system. The computer simulation is carried out using Matlab Simulink with the possibility of changing the coefficients in the process of integrating differential equations. The wind speed in the model is set in the signal generators. This allowed us to get the modelling results with a variety of wind effects. The time dependences of the angular deviation of the antenna beam from vertical with wind influences were obtained. The estimation of the radio monitoring equipment view zone on the Earth surface was obtained based on them. The recommendations for flight stabilizing of parachuting system are given with quantitative assessments.
