Abstract
In this paper, we calculate the concurrence for two entangled qubits that are immersed in either a homogeneous or a heterogeneous N-qubit environment. The concurrence for the discrete homogeneous environment was found to behave periodically depending on the interaction strengths ω

and Γ. For the case of a heterogeneous environment, we set the interaction strength Γ

as uniformly random. This case mimics of a noisy environment as it illustrates an asymptotic decay of entanglement. The sudden death behavior found in the heterogenous case becomes more prominent for larger N number of qubit environments, and no other entanglement is found as time t → ∞.
