Abstract
The thermodynamic properties are related to the life of the brake system. The texturing technology is introduced into the brake system to construct different groove textures on the brake pad. The influence of multi-factor conditions on the thermodynamic properties of the brake systems is studied based on the Finite Element Method. The results suggest that the horizontal groove texture on the brake disc can make the temperature field and stress field distribution more uniform. With the increase in braking pressure and car speed, the thermodynamic properties of the brake disc show an upward trend. The temperature difference of the brake disc is less than 3°C. It is found that the construction of appropriate groove texture of the brake pad helps improve the working performance of the car brake system.
