Abstract
Abstract
Proton transfer in porous V2O5–P2O5 glasses is shown for the first time using measurements of electrical conductivity as a function of air humidity. The materials under consideration are characterized by reversible physical sorption of water at temperatures below 100 °C, during which the conductivity decreases. Irreversible chemisorption of water is observed at 150 °C, which leads to the appearance of proton transfer.
